SESSIONES REGGAE Argentina
Sessiones is born as an experimental design from the producer Raul Bonade and Thorny the Luciano guitarist for the recording studio Tixa Record. Next to other prodecent musicians of other sorts, the musical ideas within the study of an unexpected and spontaneous way worked, as it is accustomed to - or it was accustomed to become in the world of the jazz. As result at the end of the 2001 recorded the disc Sessiones de Instrumental Reggae vol.1 with a sound difficult to catalog, where they mix reggae, Roots, rockseady, ska, jazz and dub. From this experience this formation was born as it forms to give continuity to the project. The way to work of S.R.I (Sessiones de Instrumental Reggae) remembers to us much to the one of the jazz, as much in the relation between the musicians as in its way to understand the form to interpret its subject. This way to combine the jazz with reggae we found already it in the Valencia of Spain, in the project jazz'in'reggae, framed within the concept Living Reggae.
