MAKEDA Colombia

The band is born in 2004 of the fusion of several Colombian bands, and decide to take the name from Makeda in honor to Reina de Saba. In 2005 Makeda consolidates like band, and orients its style towards a good mixture of Jamaican sounds like reggae Roots, raggamuffin, the dance-hall and dub.

In spite of his youth, one is a band with an own sound. Nevertheless its mestization of styles can confuse to those who do not know the band.

In his just a short time of life already they have passed through numerous scenes and TV channels of Colombia; and they have even participated in festivales outside its country, like its presentation in the Museum of Modern Art of Merida (Venezuela), where they recorded a live disc that takes by Makerida title, del that we presented/displayed two subjects to you for unloading here.

At the moment the band is in the process of pre-production of the subjects for his first record production in study.
