JAH Spain FLOWERPOTS
Personal project of Sergio Monleón - aka Rebell Killer-, Jah Flowerpots has the honor of being the first group that was decided to do music reggae Roots sung in Spanish. Its first work dates from 1983, hardly superable date by no artist of reggae Latin Roots. Its long trajectory has supposed a true platform for the development of the REGGAE ROOTS in Spain. Through its rows they have passed some of the best Valencian musicians as they are Rafa Villalba, Alberto Tarín or Nando Domínguez; and also great singers like Carlos Natural - aka Mandievious- or Pere Andres - aka Jamaican Rumbero. After disappearing of the scene in 1998, in the 2009 project he has appeared again with the incorporation of several Jamaican musicians.

Its walking in 1982 under the name of Julio Fari and his Flowerpots began preparing a concert for the Valencian celebrations of the FAULTS. Its first work has the significant title of Dub in Babia (1983). From it recorded several discs and CD's with different singers and formation there until the 1998 closing the circle with an instrumental work search from musical roots, his Faults 98 DUB Explosion. During the time in which Jah Flowerpots has remained stopped, Sergio Monleón continued his work like musician and producer of reggae Roots in instrumental projects like the group Lepanto Rockers, or in projects of fusion like Jazz'in Reggae or Living Reggae, next to Alberto Tarín. At present Jah Flowerpots has reinitiated its activity with a formation that includes habitual Jamaican musicians in the discography of Burning Spear or I Jah Man.
