JAGANNATHA REGGAE BAND Peru

Roots is a Peruvian grouping of fusion, formed at the beginning of the year 2000, and conformed by ex- members of other bands like Thin, Between roots and Seeds. Its spiritual sound remembers best reggae to us Jamaican of the 70.

The 9 of March of the 2001, in the festival of Goura Purnima in Chosica, Jagannatha Band knew to gain the preference of the lovers of good reggae reason why they were invited to participate in the First Festival the International of Reggae Mamacona 2001, next to the jamaiquino Apple Gabriel, voice of Israel Vibration.

At the beginning of year 2002 they record its first CD with a suggestive title that allows us to do an idea to us of what it is its message, JIV JAGO, wake up sleepy souls. At present it is on the verge of appearing its second material.

They have shared scene with great exponents of reggae Latin like the Cafres and Nuevas Roots (Argentina), South Earth (Peru) Gondwana (Chile).
