Logo Emitting of the Kan This musical project is born from the union of several musicians pertaining to different groups from the Mexican scene Roots, like the Commune, Rakes or Minimum Wage, that were united to others without experience in reggae thus to create a personal sound of quality. Its name means “Mayan maize seed” in, because its interest are in seeding a message positive that fortifies the spirit, connected with its own earth and culture, as of the good Roots it must do. In 2004 they consolidate definitively with the presentation of its first work, Seed, produced engraving and of independent way. Since then they have shared scene with numerous artists of reggae. Its sound has the own cadence of reggae Roots, but with incursions in other sorts enrich that it.
